Marit Cooper

Marit Cooper is a Swedish artist based in the UK. Marit divides her time between illustration, surface pattern design and fine art. However, the boundaries are fluid and sometimes overlap as all of the above is inspired by folklore, vintage designs and natural history. The techniques she uses to produce her artwork is a mix of traditional media and modern technology. Her color schemes tend to lean towards the muted colorful spectrum, inspired by nature and traditional materials.
