Lauren Minco

I like to say my work is awkwardly whimsical or whimsically awkward. My soup of inspiration includes comic books, animation, vintage illustration, folk art, and modern design. Pattern, color, and iconic drawing are just a few visual elements that are found in my images. One of the best things I’ve done for myself is to work as an art professor. This pushes me to constantly research current and past art movements for my students, which helps to keep me inspired and learn new things about myself as an artist, too. www.laurenminco.com
