    Mai Yi-Chun Lin

I am a designer who explores interesting ways for people to interact and share emotion with each other. I am inspired by nature, vintage colorful furniture, the sound of rain drops, Japanese toys, Alice in Wonderland, Nagi Noda, Mercibeaucoup, and quirky things I see in my daily life (I can’t quite describe in words)- it’s endless really. Cultural difference plays a strong influence as well since I spent most of my life in Taiwan, New York and the San Francisco Bay Area. I enjoy letting imagination permeate my work with subtle humor and a touch of sweetness. I love to create and get ideas rolling, and that’s the most exciting moment for me. Sometimes, my head at night is so full of ideas that I can’t sleep. For me, the world is full of wonders, and that’s exactly what I put into my work. www.nevermai.com
